A recent study in San Francisco found their foreclosure paperwork riddled with errors. While this is based on a non-judicial foreclosure model very different from Florida's, the underlying title issues are the same. On Saturday, the San Francisco Chronicle included an article about title insurance as a critical protection for anyone buying a previously foreclosed property.
