Form Committee

To assist Florida’s state regulatory authority by providing expert advisory support on the approval and revision of title insurance forms and related regulations, ensuring the clarity and consistency of documentation across the industry.

• Review and revise title insurance forms in collaboration with fellow committee members.
• Develop proposals for updates to existing forms or creation of new forms.
• Work directly with the state regulatory authority in an advisory role.
• Focus solely on form-related matters, not including rates or rating issues.

• Insurers Section: One representative from each member company.
• Agents & Abstractors Section: One non-voting representative selected by the Section Chair.
• Term: Annual
• How to Join:
  • Insurers: Representatives are selected by their respective companies.
  • Agents & Abstractors: Representative appointed by the Chair of the Section.

• Chair: Appointed annually by the Chair of the Insurer Section.
• Term: One year
• Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and send notice of committee meetings
  • Assign members to subcommittees based on specific issues and projects
