Brian Hoffman

Brian W. Hoffman is a partner with Carver Darden Law Firm, practicing in the firm’s Pensacola office. Mr. Hoffman is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Real Estate. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance with high honors from the University of Florida in 2000 and received his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Mississippi in 2002. He is currently the Agent Section Chair and First Vice-President of the Florida Land Title Association. Additionally, Brian is a Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the preeminent national association of commercial real estate lawyers. His practice focuses substantially on real estate litigation and real estate transactions and disputes. Brian is a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. He is actively involved with several substantive committees within the Section. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Real Property Problems Study Committee and Amicus Coordination Committee, and previously served as Chair of the Title Insurance and Title Insurance Liaison Committee for several years. Brian and his wife, Stefanie, have three children and reside in Pensacola, Florida.
Joe Teichert

Joe joined First American in 2017 and has served in various roles within the Agency Division including state underwriting counsel, senior operations manager, and now Senior Vice President and Area Manager of the Southeast Region which includes Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the United States Virgin Islands. Before joining First American, Joe spent several years as a litigator before entering the title insurance industry as an assistant vice president and claims counsel for a national title insurance underwriter. A native Floridian with strong ties and a deep connection to this great State, Joe is a “double Gator”, having graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Joe resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife, Morgan, and two children, Wakeland, and Lottie.
Melissa Murphy

Ms. Murphy obtained her B.S. degree from Florida State University and her J. D. degree from the University of Florida. She enjoyed a very active law practice in Gainesville, Florida for over 30 years, with a focus on real property transactional law. Ms. Murphy was an agent for Attorneys’ Title Fund Services and her firm was a Top 25 Member of The Fund for many years. Ms. Murphy was an adjunct professor at the University of Florida for 8 years, teaching at both the UF law school and in the Masters of Science in Real Estate program in the business school. She then changed careers and served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of The Fund from 2014 to 2025. Currently, she serves on the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar and was Chair of the Section in 2005-2006. The Section recognized her with the William S. Belcher Lifetime Professionalism Award in 2020. She currently serves as the Immediate Vice President of the Florida Land Title Association.
Mickey Godat

Mickey Godat was born in St. Louis, MO. He graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in History and obtained his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law. Mickey began his title career as in-house counsel for a large title agency in St. Louis, MO. From there he traveled back down the Mississippi River to New Orleans where, in 1996 he was hired by Lawyers Title. For the next 14 years, through industry consolidations with LandAmerica and Fidelity, he held various positions throughout the Southeast; including underwriting counsel in Louisiana and Florida and managed a major commercial transactions division in Central Florida. In 2010, he moved to Title Resources Guaranty Company. He is currently a Vice President and Chief Underwriting Counsel for the company.

Craig Haskins is the President and CEO of Knight Barry Title Group, one of the fastest-growing title companies in the country. With nearly 30 years of experience under his belt, Craig started his career knee-deep in title insurance and complex closings. These days, he’s focused on growing the business—having acquired 35 small agencies and now overseeing more than 80 offices and 430 employees across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Florida. (Spoiler alert: Ohio is at the top of his 2025 expansion list, so keep your phones on.)
A proud title nerd, Craig is the President-Elect of the American Land Title Association, a past President of the Wisconsin Land Title Association, and currently serves on the Florida Land Title Association Board. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and an MBA from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
When Craig isn’t underwriting deals or plotting market dominance, you’ll find him perfecting diagonally striped patterns in his lawn with a mower he treats better than most people treat their cars. His neighbors aren’t sure whether to applaud or stage an intervention.
Trish Ladan

Patricia “Trish” Ladan, currently serves as Asst. Vice President, Florida State Counsel for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. She is responsible for providing underwriting support and counsel to agents, customers and Company personnel, related to the issuance of title insurance commitments and policies across Florida. As an attorney with more than 20 years of experience in real estate law and title insurance underwriting, Trish is well versed in transactional and litigation matters, having represented lenders, developers, community associations, title insurers and insureds.
Trish is a member of the Real Property Probate & Trust Law section of the Florida Bar, the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law section of the Texas Bar, the Florida Land Title Association (“FLTA”) and the Texas Land Title Association (“TLTA”). She currently serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee and the Forms Committee for FLTA and the Legislative Committee for TLTA.
Trish earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in government from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Florida and Texas Bars.
Jaime Andring, CLC

Jaime Andring is an Escrow Officer at Stewart Title Company in Ocala, Florida. A proud Ocala native, Jaime, has over 23 years of experience in the title insurance industry. She began her career in 2002 handling manufactured home transactions and has since handled nearly every type of real estate closing imaginable. In 2006, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus in Accounting and became a Licensed Title Insurance Agent. She further demonstrated her expertise by earning the Certified Land-Title Closer (CLC) designation from the Florida Title Association in 2018. Jaime is passionate about making the closing process smooth, efficient, and stress-free. Whether she is working with first-time homebuyers, real estate agents, lenders, or investors, she is committed to answering questions, solving problems, and ensuring every transaction is completed with care and precision. Outside of work you can usually find Jaime with her nose stuck in a book, a lifelong book lover with a home library to prove it. She also loves planning travel adventures with her husband, Michael.
Kathi Christoff

Kathi is Vice President and an Underwriter, as well as the Florida Agency Liaison Counsel, for Fidelity National Financial/Florida Agency. Prior to her current position, she was the Senior Claims Manager for American Pioneer Title Insurance Company. She brings over 32 years of experience to the title insurance community, along with the additional time she spent during her years in private practice as a real estate and probate attorney. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law and graduated with a B.A. in Allied Legal Services from the University of Central Florida. While in attendance at UCF, she was (and is) a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. For the Florida Land Title Association (FLTA), Kathi is the current Treasurer, as well as the Chair of the Claims Roundtable for FLTA’s Claims Prevention, Avoidance and Education Committee, a position she has held for the past 9 years. Additionally, she currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Citrus Council of Girl Scouts as well as acts as the Chair for the Property Committee for Citrus Council. She is a true Florida Native going back 4 generations and on any given day can root for the UCF Knights or the UF Gators.

Patti Moser is the Owner/ Broker of Horizon Realty of Alachua, Inc. since 1980 and Owner/Manager of Alachua Title Services, LLC since 2000. She is an alumna of the University of Florida. Patti has been involved in many leadership roles with the Gainesville-Alachua County Association of Realtors including past President, Stellar MLS Director, as well as the Professional Standards Chair and Mediator. With Florida Realtors, Patti previously was the Chair of the Realtor-Attorney Joint Committee, a long-time member of the Florida Realtors/Florida BAR (FR/BAR) subcommittee, a Key Contact, and an Instructor for Professional Standards and the FR/BAR Contract. On a national level, Patti is a Federal Political Coordinator visiting Washington, D.C. often to share issues facing the real estate and title industries with our elected officials. Patti has held roles in the title industry as well, including FLTA Chair Government Affairs Committee, FLTA Board of Directors, ALTA Congressional Liaison, ALTA Congressional Liaison Committee, TIPAC Committee, ALTA Title Action Network Committee, and the ALTA Homeowner Outreach Program Work Group. Patti enjoys spending time on her farm with her husband Jeff, working outdoors in her orchard and vegetable garden, playing with their two grandchildren as well as cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Florida Gators.
Sabine Seidel

Sabine is State Counsel for Westcor Land Title Insurance Company in its Maitland office. She has been with Westcor since 2005 and is in charge of the Florida underwriting department as well as assisting with commercial underwriting. She also teaches at Westcor’s annual seminars and various agent events. Sabine is originally from Germany and grew up in a military family. She received her undergraduate degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. from the University of Memphis. Sabine was briefly in private practice but starting in 1999 at American Pioneer Title Insurance Company, her career has been in title insurance underwriting and claims. Sabine is a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust section of the Florida Bar and serves on the Title Issues and Standards, Commercial Real Estate and Title Insurance and Liaison Committees. When not working Sabine loves spending time at the beach or the barn with her husband Joel and 14-year-old daughter Hailey.

Erin Miller is a real estate attorney in Jupiter and Naples at Erin Michelle Miller, P.A. and is co-owner of Tortuga Title, LLC and Olde Naples Title, LLC. Whether through small law firms or her own solo practice, she has focused on real estate transactions since 2014. She enjoys being a resource for real estate agents and brokers, and has created a variety of courses with a goal of building real estate agent confidence and competence in the contracts – and translating those skills into smoother closings for customers. She is an active member of the Florida Realtor-Attorney Joint Committee and FR/Bar Contract Subcommittee, and serves as Co-Vice Chair of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section’s (RPPTL) Residential Real Estate and Industry Liaison Committee (RREIL). Through the Naples Area Board of Realtors Legal Resources Committee, she has taught Real Estate agents, participated in forms revisions, and recently played an integral role in creating and updating NABOR forms for compliance with the 2024 NAR Settlement. She is a Florida Realtors® Faculty member, member of Palm Beach and Collier County Bar Associations, Past Chair of the Real Estate Section of the Collier County Bar Association, and an RPPTL Fellow (2020-2022). She earned her Juris Doctorate cum laude and Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Florida International University, and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Spanish. Shelley Stewart has served as President/CEO of Southern Title since its founding in 1994. Since then, she has successfully spearheaded its growth into one of the most successful independent title insurance agencies in the state of Florida. Today, the Southern Title Family of Companies operates under the direction of Stewart, who reports to a Board of Managers. Ms. Stewart is a highly respected leader and agent advocate and is well regarded for her knowledge, insight, and integrity throughout the title insurance industry. She achieved the Certified Land Closer (CLC) professional designation from the Florida Land Title Association (FLTA) in 1984 and was the first Florida title agent to earn the National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association (ALTA) in 2014. The CLC designation demonstrates the highest level of experience and professionalism in the industry and requires the designee to complete a lengthy two part exam. The National Title Professional (NTP) Designation is designed to recognize land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience, and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property. Ms. Stewart is actively involved with many industry trade associations and charitable organizations on a local, state, and national level.
Lisa Walt

Vice President of Operations at First International Title, Lisa Walt began her career in 1992 with underwriters American Title, Meridian Title, and Fidelity National Title. In 1998, she founded her own reconciliation company before helping start First International Title in 2009. Lisa was key in the development of Integrated Settlement Technologies, a proprietary software with enhanced security that reduces fraud and improves the workflow of the escrow team. She played a crucial role in the transition from HUDs to CDs, mastering the new CFPB rules. Lisa currently manages 35 locations, overseeing Compliance, Banking, and Escrow Reconciliations. She has also managed data calls for Florida, New York, and Texas, ensuring the logistics and flow of operations in every major market. Lisa is a licensed title agent with both agency and underwriter expertise, providing her a deep understanding of industry challenges. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and has recently discovered a passion for cruising.

He is Board Certified in Real Estate, holding a JD from Stetson and a BSBA from the University of Central Florida. His passion extends beyond the speaking circuit and industry initiative; he is deeply involved in AI Education, real estate investment/development, lobbying, and his community, including active participation in freemasonry. With a rich background spanning litigation, trial counsel, underwriting, and issuing agent roles, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to every discussion.

Kevin Graham is the Owner and President of Suncoast One Title & Closings, Inc., a top-producing title agency in Southwest Florida. Since founding the company in 2005, he has grown it from a single office into seven locations serving Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port, Englewood, Venice, Sarasota, and Bradenton, with a team of 22 dedicated employees. Suncoast One Title is recognized for both its expertise in closing services and its commitment to delivering a client experience built on trust, communication, and care.
Kevin brings 27 years of management experience and 18 years in the title and real estate industry, backed by a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida State University. He began his entrepreneurial journey with a successful insurance agency in 1997 and has also spent more than a decade training attorneys, insurance agents, and CPAs in insurance, contracts, and trusts.
In the community, Kevin is Past President of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and now serves as Chair of the Government Affairs Committee. He is a board member of the Charlotte County Fellowship of Christian Athletes and remains deeply involved in his church and faith, which guide his leadership and service.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys golfing, boating, and Florida’s waterfront lifestyle. He and his wife, Kim, are proud parents of three grown children and the grandparents of a granddaughter they adore.
