Committee members help develop and implement issues which affect our industry. If you would like to be a leader in your industry, and help form and implement FLTA positions and initiatives, join now!
Click the links below to learn more about FLTA committees. Then, register for any and up to three (3) committees in which you would like to participate. Per our bylaws, you are a member of some committees as soon as you register, but others require Presidential appointment. The committee year is November-November.
Please note, even if you are currently "on" a committee, you still need to register. This ensures that we have an accurate and official list of members, including voting members.

Registration for 2018-19 Committees Close August 15, 2018
Educate the membership in matters of claims avoidance and prevention and other claims matters as the committee may see fit.
The Cyber Security Committee is a newly formed committee focused on technology affecting the Title industry and to assist in the development and promotion of cyber fraud awareness.
Develop and provide educational opportunities to the membership and potential membership of the Association.
Assist the State Regulatory authority in a strictly advisory capacity with the approval of title insurance forms, the promulgation of rules relating to title insurance forms and issues associated thereto. Excluding any issues pertaining to rates or rating issues.
Monitor and report on laws, regulations and court decisions which affect the title insurance industry. Develop and provide preferred industry legislative language.
Promote and strive for improvement of government. Encourage those in the title industry to understand the nature and actions of the government and to participate in governmental and political affairs. Assist persons in the title industry to organize themselves for more effective political action. Support candidates and office holders who express a philosophy and action consistent with the concept of government through the private enterprise system. Assist candidates and office holders in fundraising, outreach and lobbying as needed to further our industry.
Expand the membership of the association. Call on prospective members and work to retain existing members.
