Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. was named one of the Orlando Sentinel’s 2011 Top 100 Companies for Working Families. 

Susan Pelham, vice president of operations, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the Awards Ceremony held at The Royal Pacific Resort, Orlando, on Aug. 5.

“Our employees are the backbone of our company, so we strive to create and maintain an environment that takes care of their needs,” Pelham said. “By taking care of our employees, we hope to create an environment where our people are happy and enjoy coming to work.”

For the past 18 years, the Orlando Sentinel has coordinated the Top 100 Companies for Working Families program. Applications are reviewed by an independent panel of local human resources experts and points are awarded in the categories of providing core benefits, family-related benefits, work environment, communication and training.
